Such an enjoyable little horror novella!
Keane managed to fit unexpected plot twists, eerie tension and emotive characters within such a short page count, while maintaining a level of mystique in the encountered horror that left me genuinely surprised and entertained.

Wondering if y’all have read any good sports nonfiction lately? I’m a big baseball fan specifically and it’s a genre I’m wanting to branch into! Drop the recs in the comments!!!!
To pay the rec tax, I will say Jon Krakauer is a good author for outdoor and adventure non fiction!!!

I have no idea why Ali Hazelwood, a former academic herself, would think that a grad student dating a professor in her OWN DEPARTMENT is acceptable under any circumstances, especially if he’s well known and influential. He can give her major advantages by promoting her work at conferences etc and could end her career with a single bad word through his network. The conflicts of interest are INSANE even if he’s not her direct supervisor.
But whatever because the romance is SO GOOD HE’S SO DOWN BAD OMG
