I was pleasantly surprised by this book! I’ll admit that at the beginning it took me a second to get my bearings (I found the scenes a bit choppy). I really enjoyed this version of Lady Macbeth, as it was one I haven’t read before, and as someone with a History degree I really appreciated the more historical take!
I do wish it was longer too. I think the author could have expanded more on Lady Macbeths earlier years, and even more so on her story with Lisander.
Overall I throughly enjoyed this story, and confirmed Ava Reid as an auto buy author for me!
