I love Uketsu books so much because they are more than anything else..endlessly entertaining!
This was a wondeful mix of both "Strange Pictures" and "Strange Houses".
Cannot wait for the next one.
Thank you to Puskin Vertigo for my ARC.

From the provocative and challenging to the emotional and quiet, Japanese literary fiction tends to be nuanced, introspective, and minimalistic. These books contain layered cultural commentary and may lean on psychological, surreal, or fantastical elements to convey their message.

This was better than I imaged it would be. I thought I had solved it at one point but I was thrown off completely.. if you like a fun short murder mystery this book is definitely for you!
