So so good. I am still processing and will be rereading. I loved the story frame of the letters. It is a poetic story of classic themes of love and war. I just⦠chefās kiss.

Itās cute. I enjoyed the The Last Unicorn more, mainly because the character motivations were clearer. Beagleās writing is fantastic, but the pacing at the beginning was a bit slow and parts toward the end felt a bit rushed. Overall an enjoyable read, but if youāre deciding between this and The Last Unicorn, my vote would be for the latter.
