I knew from the very first chapter that I was going to be hooked, and I absolutely was. This book is incredibly well done. I’ve always enjoyed thrillers with strong illustrations, and this one definitely stands out. It briefly reminded me of The Housemaid by Frieda McFadden, so I assumed the plot would be similar, but wow, I was completely off. The story is gripping, full of ‘wait, what?’ moments, and even a few genuine jumpscares (those drawings are terrifying). And the ending actually made me cry. I sincerely hope the characters get the peace they deserve. A well-earned 4.5 stars! 🌟

I’ve officially finished the final book in the Bergman series, closing things off with Viggo and Tallulah’s love story, and what a bittersweet moment. I’ve been following this family from book one, and at this point, it genuinely feels like I’ve been adopted into the Bergman clan myself. Each book let me watch the siblings grow into their own quirks and personalities, and the found-family element throughout the series has been nothing short of wonderful.
This final book, focusing on Viggo and Tallulah, really got me. Viggo is the ultimate lover boy, a bookish, soft-hearted sunshine of a man. Tallulah, on the other hand, isn’t cold-hearted, but she’s definitely more guarded and less convinced by romance. Yet somehow, they find their way to each other. They learn from one another, heal through love, and eventually become each other’s home. It’s cliché in the best way; comforting, heartwarming, and irresistibly captivating.
Finishing the series feels emotional, like saying goodbye to friends I’ve grown with. I truly recommend this series to everyone. It’s fun, heartfelt, romantic, with a touch of spice, and even the spice carries emotion instead of being just pure smut. It adds depth to the story, making everything feel more meaningful.
I love these characters. I love this family. And yes I absolutely recommend the Bergman series.

Only and Forever (Bergman Brothers, #7)

This book dives into Ziggy Bergman’s story with Sebastian aka brother (Ren)’s best friend and the resident bad-boy-with-a-soft-center. Think good girl x bad boy, fake friendship for reputation purposes, and a sprinkle of friends-to-lovers.
The beginning? Loved it. Cute, swoony, and full of moments that made me grin. The second half, though, didn’t quite land for me. The chemistry felt a little muted, and the emotional buildup didn’t hit as hard as the other Bergman books. Not bad at all, just not my top pick of the series. Still, it’s a good read and the series overall remains fantastic. This one just isn’t my personal standout.
I’m giving it a comfortable 3.5/5 stars

Ok yeah I just started but I'm liking Jackson already. He is so funny. Also, this is getting fun (also, too early to say but it is what it is) 😊

Another hit from the series! This one serves grumpy x sunshine (aka my fave trope), plus marriage of convenience and a very “we’re just friends-with-benefits, no strings… except oops, feelings.” The dynamic between Rooney and Axel is adorable. The tension? Tension-ing. The chemistry? Off the charts. And Axel being a secretly soft guy once he catches feelings? Yeah, I melted.
I also feel like the spice level in this one went harder than expected, not complaining, just saying 👀🔥 Also, bonus points for Rooney being a Harry Styles fan because SAME.
Overall, a really fun, swoony addition to the series. Might actually be my favorite couple so far.
Rating: 4/5 stars!

I honestly don’t have better words to describe how beautiful this book is. It’s a second-chance romance with a whole lot of miscommunication (yes, that definitely counts as a trope), and the first half had me genuinely frustrated in the best way; the arguments, the misunderstandings, the tension, all of it felt so realistic.
As always, the found family element absolutely delivered, and it hit especially hard in this one. Since this is a Bergman sister romance, we get Aiden’s perspective, and seeing how deeply the Bergman family loves and accepts him made my heart ache. I may or may not have teared up, but honestly, it was worth every minute.
Overall, I really loved this one. It might even be my favourite in the series so far, and yes, Aiden is my top tier Bergman sibling (for now). Solid 4.5/5 stars!
