I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN. Why are all werewolf romances so good đ plus the grumpy x sunshine trope??? I ate this up and left no crumbs I fear.

starting 2026 with another EmHen reread! this book is for the women that want it all, and I am very much one of those women. the women who want to succeed in their career AND have a family AND spend the rest of their days doing the same âboringâ things with â¨their personâ¨. it is magic to want everything, and to be everything. Nora is the advocate for it. sheâs for the women who push down their wants, who are scared of the monumentality of those wants, because what if they canât make them happen? I think the greatest and most beautiful question to consider is: what if you can? imagine that. be fearless đ§ĄđŠľ

This is my second time reading PWMOV and Iâm shocked all over again by how at home I feel in this story, with these characters. I used to avoid messy characters - why would anyone want to read about people making silly decisions??? But I gave this book a chance in June 2025 and fell â¨fast⨠and â¨hardâ¨. Because Iâm a messy character. And the theme of loneliness shown through Poppy, and the fear of being happy through Alex, is so raw. I instantly connected to them, saw myself in them, and it broke me open now just as it did then. Love is terrifying. I think that is a big reason as to why itâs such a beautiful thing.
