Loved the main relationship and the tension/banter between the characters. Side characters were fun. Plot was a little too familiar to other YA books, These Violent Delights namely. The world building was very lacking. Will still read next book.

Not that this list needs to be extensive or anything but I think a few books that are more recent could be added that are considered cozy fantasy. Namely the Emily Wilde series by Heather Fawcett or at least the first book. Feel free to use this post to suggest others.

The banter and tension between Sera and Ransom is sooo good! The relationship between Val and Bibi reminds me of Dead Boys Detectives for some reason. Im loving all the side characters as well. Its getting to the good part of the plot and starting to pick up a little.

I actually really like this book so far! The characters are amazing and well developed. The plot reminds me of These Violent Delights with the monsters. The world building hasnt become any more developed yet which is disappointing.
