Surely we know what we're here for. This is one you have to listen to because the male narrator was genuinely so chef's kiss. Cute wintery read!

If you know anything about me, it’s that I love great friend group. Bram’s was an absolute treat and I need so much more of both Leo and Sloane Saint James.
The book could have been a bit tighter, as it felt longer than it needed to be, but it was an absolute blast regardless. I was surprised by how much heart it had in the plot between all the raunchy sex. If you love a “good girl” (or good boy) moment then this is absolutely for you.
Also I love that Maddie is unapologetically fat. An important detail that was not simply brushed over or mentioned just once!
Thank you to the publisher for the ARC.

So stinking cute. I do think that this was more of the Troy show than it was about both Troy and Harris, but it was very feels-good all around. I love when two people feel so right together that everything else simply doesn't matter.

It's not that I didn't know what I was getting into. I just didn't think I'd find this as icky as I did while actually listening to it. Maybe I would have had a better experience reading McCurdy's prose rather than listening to it, but I found her writing to be heavy and a slog to get through at times. I can appreciate an author's artistic choice to do so to convey the feelings they're going for, but I'm just not in the right headspace to parse through a teenage girl's manic thoughts right now.
Thank you to LibroFM for the ALC.

I was surprised by how breezy this was to read given that some of the topics dealt within it are rather heavy. I attribute that to how much I enjoyed Hannah Bonam-Young's writing style. The character work here was great, but the one thing I was a little let-down by was the actual relationship between the two protagonists. I wish we'd gotten more scenes where Prudence and Milo just got to know each other better. The spice was on point, but I would've appreciated a few more pages dedicated to just seeing them hang out. And the third act conflict felt so unnecessary? I really felt bad for Milo, who was put in a really difficult position. I sincerely don't believe there was a right or wrong answer there.
