OH MY GOSH??! 😭 THAT WAS SCARY AF. Just a heads up for those who are planning to listen to the graphic audio. Maybe lower your volume down if it's in max level. 😭 I'm feel like I'm Patricia right now. I'm losing my mind. 😭

Not the damp armpits 😭 also I have a feeling I'm gonna be dreaming of rats tonight 😭 I've had a horror face since I started this book. My fault for not checking the genre. All this time I thought it was just a thriller. I didn't know it was horror as well. 💀😂 This is stressing me out!! Hahaha. 😭

  • The Flop

Can we take a moment to appreciate a good FLOPPY book? I am far more likely to buy a book simply because it is floppy. So easy to hold, no worries about spines. Why can’t they all be floppy? If given the choice, would you prefer stiff over floppy?

  • Thoughts on Bookstragram

A few years ago I had a bookstagram account, it was fun and I took it as a hobby, until it wasn’t, I had to post everyday (because that’s what everyone says you have to do) and make reels (I had no idea how to do that haha) and stories and a bunch of things, and honestly, it felt like a whole job! So, I decided to move on and closed it, but ever since, I’ve been missing it quite a bit and now that I’m on PB, I’ve been considering bringing it back! Idk, I’m just having intrusive thoughts haha

What do you think about the whole bookstagram environment? Do you like it? Do you have an account? How do you treat it? Just for fun or as an actual job? I’m just super curious to read everyone’s thoughts! ☺️

  • Slow Burn

Does anybody else feel like authors have started some unspoken competition of who can have the slowest slow burn?

I don't need insta-love but I'm starting to get turned off of slow burn bc it is So Frickin Slooooooow.

Are you loving this "trend" or think it's getting a bit ridiculous?

  • Just Curious

Do you know if people who collect high-valued special editions actually read them? Or are they keepsakes? I know some collectors of rare, valuable baseball cards keep them in protective cases and never touch them with ungloved hands.

I'm asking because I saw a collection that costs almost $2,500. Of course, some go even higher than that. I was thinking how terrible it would be to accidentally damage one of the pages. It seems like reading them would be so stressful. 😬🫣
