This was great. I remember picking it up before and being unsure if I could handle the concept of the disease but I’m really glad I decided to pick it back up again, it was a perfect fall read!

Literally started tearing up on page 3 cause I haven’t read a book with PCOS representation before, I feel so seen.

I made a choice to eat while listening to this audiobook…. It was not the right choice given all the worms and vomit.

It was a good story but felt quite unfinished, almost like it was the first book in a series — but it isn’t. I also didn’t love the art style but that’s a personal thing and I think it did suit the book well.

“Life is too short for long names. My kids, if I ever have any, will have fun and easy names like ‘Kate’” This gave me the ick as a POC whose name gets mispronounced a lot. I get that she’s talking about longer white names but it was an immediate book turn off for me. Ignorant line tbh. Dropping it.
