It’s so fun when authors drop Easter eggs of their stuff and I catch them. Or at least I hope that’s what Weaver is doing.

She mentions a Ruinous Love playlist and now casually dropping the word Marrow. 😂 It makes me think all her characters will meet soon. If the characters from the Ruinous Love trilogy meet up with Roth and Jack (Marrow) and then with Harper and Nolan that would be so awesome!

This entire guac scene has me cheesing so hard. Because what do you mean he rests his chin on her shoulder, opens his mouth for her to feed him a chip with guac, tells her “it’s the best guac” he’s ever had, then “simultaneously slides one arm over [her] belly, resting his palm on [her] opposite hip, and lifts the other hand” to grab a salt shaker and then lime to add to the guac, but STILL says “it’s the best I ever had because you made it for me”.

SOMEONE NEEDS TO RESUSCITATE ME!

"Hey," I say. He grunts. "No sleeping." His lips kick up into a smile. "I'm not sleeping." "You always say that when I catch you sleeping." "I'm never sleeping when I close my eyes like this with you." "Then what are you doing?" He pauses and I think he might not answer. But then he says, "I'm committing the moment to memory.”
