Romance is my forever genre, whether it's sweet, dark, smutty, or swoony, I love it all! I'm a proud Swiftie and bookstagrammer who turned a deep passion for books into a job as a publicity assistant!

  • A feature I’d love on book apps

i have no idea if this would ever be possible, but thought i’d mention something i’ve always wanted out of a book app (literally i think about this every time i use storygraph) i’d looove if when adding a book to my tbr, i could add just a little note where i can document where i found out about the book and why in that moment im so intrigued to read it i just find my tbr can get so long i often look through it and see many books in which i have no recollection of where it was recommended to me, or why i was excited by it. especially as i tend to get my recommendations from many many sources. does this sound like something anybody else would enjoy too? perhaps could be a future suggestion the the page bound creators

When you get back, you can tell me what you want to do.” That’s great. But who the hell is going to tell me? This is so relatable, especially as someone whose mom made all the decisions for her as a child/teen/college years. 🥲

Oh I'm SAT for this one. Interesting magic system, love the feisty fmc, lots pf symbolism and foreshadowing so far. I can tell this one is going to be good.

I can really tell this is the first YA I read in a while, this book reads itself lol The plot is engaging, and I find the author explains the rules of this universe/magic in a nice way when talking about their past lives. I haven't decided how I feel about Ceri yet 👀

  • Great Big Beautiful Life
    Thoughts from 29% - I'm invested

At this point in the book we're already covering the two stories and I'm super invested. After reading so many flops this year it's so nice to have a good, compelling story to immerse myself into

  • Anyone watching The Summer I Turned Pretty?

The show has me in a chokehold, but no one around me has been watching it so I have no one to debate Team Conrad/Jeremiah with 🥹 Have you guys been watching it too? I've been Team Jere in S1 & 2 but S3 has been a roller coaster ride 🤯 Any book recommendations for similar love triangles / character dynamics while waiting for the next episode?

  • Stories about unrequited love / "maybe in some other time or place"

I looooove these kinds of stories so much - yes there's pain, but also yearning and confronting what it means to be human. Do you have any book recs involving unrequited love, or where it's uncertain whether characters end up together or not? (I recognize this could get spoiler-y, so we can keep it vague what ends up happening 👀)

  • Books like "The wedding People"

Hey Guys! I just finished "The Wedding People" by Alison Espach within less than 2 days and I need more! I occasionally read literary books but I just find them by accident and wouldn't really know how to find more books like this. I really enjoyed how introspective this book was and how all the characters learned so much about themselves through talking to others (very character driven narration). Additionally I loved how flawed everyone was and how it added so much depth to them. It also made me reflect on myself a lot! If you've read the book or generally have recommendations that fit my description please feel free to leave a comment! I would love to read more in that direction 🫶🏻
