every time i think about samuel beckett, i think about that one random thomas brodie-sangster short film that was on youtube where their dad makes both of his sons work as scam artists/pickpockets and their names are samuel and beckett, but i’m pretty sure at least the younger one’s scam is performing in public or like he wants to be an actor or something

Idk if this has been rec'd yet but The Bones Beneath My Skin by TJ Klune blew me away. I read it in January and I already want to read it again.

What was the last book you were truly relieved to finish? Deep breathe out and thank God it's finally over now.
I read Whiteout by Ann Grech. It was awful. I don't think I can remember a book that I had a worse reaction to. I do usually DNF but I couldn't do it for this.
