  • How do you find your books?

For the horror books, I usually follow people on insta that recommend books. But before that, I used to go to bookstores and takes pictures for my TBR. Do you get a feeling that it’s “the right book” without even knowing reviews or do u need reviews to be persuaded?

i’m so excited to be diving into my first book on the Edmund Fitzgerald as well as my first book on Great Lakes and shipwrecks. I’m already so intrigued by it all and I’ve already learned so much, like about the White Hurricane of 1913. I immediately pulled up the wikipedia page for it- there’s still at least one ship sunk from that storm that hasn’t been found!!! and most of the shipwrecks from that storm were found in the 21st century! i’m always so awestruck of the great lakes and their power
