A challenge to read all books mentioned or referenced in the American TV Show, Gilmore Girls. Books are referenced by all characters in the show. The Mojo Collection, dictionaries, instructional books, and travel books will not be included in the list.

Just personally wanted a compilation of all plays for ease of access, even those with debatable authorship. Hopefully should appear chronologically from ascending to descending.

"if we were villains" is one of my favourite books and i like to go back to it every year but while reading it as it is is very enjoyable, i thought about compiling a list of other books mentioned/used in iwwv (or just the ones i think could add to your experience), mostly Shakespeare's plays so the next time i read it i can be fully prepared to feel devastated<3 if i forgot about anything, let me know enjoy!

IN PROGRESS AS OF MAY 2026 (I'm rewatching it and trying to put everything in chronological order of the show T.T) - Every single book directly mentioned, referenced in a joke, or clearly seen in the show Gilmore Girls, because I'm obsessed and challenging myself to read them all.
