Recs if you like You, Again...

I started keeping a list on my phone every time I caught a character drooling over the love interest's forearms and now I am sharing my findings with the world! I shall continue to conduct this important groundbreaking research for the sake of all mankind . Looking for collaborators! I love reading romances between men and women where one or both of the characters are bi because it shows the potential of bi people to fall in love with any gender, if that makes sense. So often bi people in “straight” relationships don’t get clocked as LGBTQ+ and I like seeing how they make a “straight” relationship queer. It’s also nice to read about LGBTQ+ outside of achillian and sapphic stories and spaces. I’m always on the hunt for more.

As per usual, I am only including the first book for series.

This list features books with covers designed by New York-based, Houston-born designer Cassie Vu. She is a Senior Designer for Penguin Random House's art department. Her covers boast loud, bold lettering and striking colour gradients. Her website features a "cover graveyard", showcasing different iterations of covers that were ultimately chosen, which I highly recommend perusing.

Because there’s nothing like reading a book that feels like a peak 90s romcom

Strictly romance first, romance novels. Expect fun banter, laugh out loud moments and ultimate joy, fun and elaborate conceits, feet kicking in the air and giggling vibes. Only books I personally recommend, and I tend to like romcoms where the leads have their own proper adult lives and see some personal growth. This is the best out of over 150! 😎
