deaf / hard of hearing characters in books
These books either have a main character or main side character who's important to the plot with deaf and/or hard of hearing rep! πππ I haven't read all of these, but I have read a good chunk, so I'm always happy to talk with anyone about them & recs are always appreciated! π

HOH/Deaf
Books featuring deaf and/or hard of hearing (HOH) characters or people-across as many genres as possible.

disability & mental health rep

Favorite Children's Graphic Novels
A few excellent graphic novels for kids! These books are mostly for Ages 6-15, but some vary. Double-check first before recommending them to a kid, you don't want to accidentally give a book that's too hard to read for them. It's already hard enough to encourage their love for reading without making it harder than it has to be! But, these are all still very good for reluctant readers.

Memoirs More Interesting Than Fiction
Everyone has a story, and some people get to tell them in a memoir.
