I loved this book! The twists were well hidden. The world building actually helped the plot. I’ve seen so many meh reviews that I was worried but I read the second book immediately
Dang, I binged this book! I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The magic system is so unique and each word is captivating to read more. While I had an idea that many of the scenes were going to happen, it was still satisfying to read. Love the gothic/darkness of this book. Cannot wait to read the second book. Review to come~
Is anyone else captivated by the Nightmare and Elm? Something about both of them, I just can’t stop reading about both of them. If I were to mix Elm and Nightmare together, it remind me of one of the MC in The Witchwood Knot by Olivia Atwater.
