Based on the HRCYED 3.0 prompt! Books with weather or natural disasters/phenomena on the cover (at least one version), including: rain, storms, lightning, clouds, snowfall, fog, sunshine, tornados, earthquakes, wildfires, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis.

Not an exhaustive list - feel free to suggest titles! I tried to keep it more focused on books that fit the prompt but would be harder to find (i.e. ones that don't have the key words in the title).

Novels with intriguing titles (that I read or that sound interesting) in English (either originally or translated); a mix of genres. Mostly 4+ words in the title, with some select 3-word-titles but no shorter ones. No parts of series except for the first book.

Fresh coast, best coast 🌊 For anyone who is also obsessed with the upper Great Lakes: Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ontario, etc. Suggestions are welcome!

Hardest Reading Challenge You’ll Ever Do! Subject to changes since I’m fickle. All 150 books plus the 2 bonus! I’m probably crazy for trying 🫠 I have repeated authors mostly because I’m trying to use books I already own. I’m not sure if that’s taboo or not…

a selection of literature that has somewhat an eerie vibe, that focuses on oceans, rivers, ... any bodies of water, really. Water as transformation tool, water as a home or water as the thing giving life or killing it off. Sometimes water is a main character, sometimes it's just a presence, sometimes it's the lover, the friend, the family member, but other times it's the dream that can never be reached.

i hate being on boats but i do love reading about being on boats 😆
