Together they set out to find the secret Cerberus facility where Grayson is being held. But they aren’t the only ones after him. And time is running out.As the experiments continue, the sinister Reaper technology twists Grayson’s mind. This, the third and last of the 'Mass Effect' tie-in novels, is also the best of the 'Mass Effect' tie-in novels.

The author, Drew Karpyshyn, wrote the 'Mass Effect' series of games. Consequently, it's no surprise that the novels feather effortlessly in with the games' storyline. What makes this the best of the series, however, is the way in which it ties the previous two volumes together to make for an entertaining, satisfying conclusion.
