Mikayla tried to warn us! Being an influencer IS hard! You have to work until 5:19 some days, open hundreds of PR packages, AND actually have to film those lucrative sponsorship videos but in these books, it's not just the influencer comment sections that become a blood bath! Don't forget to like, subscribe, and suggest more influencer horror/thrillers in honor of the hardest working people around! A genre-inclusive and diverse list of horror releases coming in 2026. If I missed any or you have suggestions, please let me know. I will update periodically as new books are announced and release dates are solidified.

Source for a lot of the data for this list came from readjumpscares.com, which is a website you should absolutely check out. I’m sure data will come from other places along the way, as well.

the gurls NEED to read horror books 💋 i wouldn’t say these are all horror but that’s left to the reader to make that assumption

This includes book that have either mystery or thrillers as a primary or secondary genre. If you have recommendations to add please comment and I'll happily add them 💕

This is an achillean horror books lists.. i make this because i want more gays. This list is inspired by the list made by @Thehobbit ( Yes. I definitely did not read like 99% of these books so. Y'all can like.. recs me some.. please ) + This is also a reminder i should read horror more, because why not, and they're fun and and — I hope yall have fun with this list, please educate me if i picked non achillean books as I've stated i have not read most of these, i will be updating over time.

The intensity of the appetites and content in these books vary, check trigger warnings if needed.

always accepting suggestions for books with ooey-gooey, drippy drops on the cover.

To be clear, these are books that smell like the candle, not Gwyneth Paltrow's actual vagina. They're books with girl bosses, lip oils or maybe serums.

Often murder. Sometimes kinda culty.

Burn after reading.

Books about beauty, youth, and skincare. Oh and also cannibalism

I was surprised I couldn't find a list already. This is for my fellow cannibalism readers. Let me know if I missed any!

A place to find books about experiments, lab testing, or other strange controlled environments that take a turn. Please make recommendations if you have them. This is one of my favorite concepts.

my reading interests for some LGBTQ sci fi, fantasy, and horror books and series

Shamelessly yoinked from a certain other reading app that shall not be named... this is a list of recently published (2025-2026) LGBTQ+ fiction across a spectrum of genres and identities!

(Disclaimer: I haven't read most of these, but so many compelling covers made me want to save them all in a list to continue referencing into the future.)
