This was tough for me to get through. Maybe I need to study the worlds better, I felt lost most of the time. Loved the concept and plot though.
0I loved the world, the magic, and the idea of this story, but the pacing was a bit off. The beginning was slow and the twists were mostly... meh? Also, unfortunately, I never got too invested in any of the characters (people died and I was like... oh well). But I’m rating it higher (despite my issues with plot and character) because the world was so immersive and wonderful. It’s so easy to feel yourself there. The ending set up for a sequel but I’m not sure if I will go out of my way to read it.
