I love horror and I'm really interested in seeing how the genre shows up in different countries and parts of the world. I am making a list of all the books I have currently collected that take place in countries other than the United States, England, Canada, and Australia. I will add as I find more. Currently, there is just one book per country. For those with more, I tried to add less commonly known books. body horror as a metaphor for autonomy, mental health & identity

dismemberment, parasitic infection, medical transmutation... body horror truly has it all. when the horror lives inside you, when there's no external danger, what do you do? you can't run from the transformation you've undergone. body horror centers the unbecoming of who you are at your core and the subsequent changes on the outside.
