We love books with a verbose title, and this list celebrates them! Suggestions welcome 🤗

books that feel like the moment at the end of a movie when the protagonist has been through hell and back, gets into a cab, and gazes silently out the window as she goes home. she smiles ever so slowly before the screen fades to black.

Qwordy's Hardest Reading Challenge You'll Ever Do 3.0 Familial Terms Prompt You must find five books with DIFFERENT familial terms in the title. You can use other languages, but once you use it in another language, you cannot use it again This is an on going list and always open for recommendations

Second chances, found family, cranky but comedic old folks. No 20 somethings as main character's here!

Complete Blacklist

These are books that will help you expand your worldview and understand what people go through. Some books are fictional, diving into the questions of power, relationships, privilege, and struggle. Others are true stories, bearing witness to real events and experiences that happen world-wide. All of these books exemplify the importance of storytelling as a means to understanding each other and our world!

Books that will wrench your heart open but leave you wanting for more. Symptoms after reading these books

1. A lot of crying (probably, most probably)

Fiction that gives you both the happy tears and the sad ones!

Books from all genres that provide a reflection about childhood and what it's like to be a child. Expect coming of age stories, early ages memoirs, and more far-fetched novels depicting childlike wonder! Let yourself be taken away on an adventure to rediscover what childhood is through real stories, invented ones and metaphors of childhood!

The major works of Fredrik Backman for the completionist.

Books that contain some sort of grief story line. Someone has died, someone is grieving, someone is trying to move forward or find closure. Normalizing grief and proof that it demands to be felt. These are books that could be preferred over "traditional" grief books that can be too heavy and technical on a grieving brain but help a griever feel seen and understand their own grief more.

This is a collection of my favorite literary fiction authors! I have chosen my favorite book of theirs as well as all of the books by them, that I have yet to read! So this is a mix of faves and tbr! I have excluded authors that I have no interest in reading from again, even though I have loved one of their books.
