Basically, a huge list of every book I ever heard features sapphic characters.

I have not read all of these, so I cannot be sure of the amount of the time on page of the sapphic characters or of the quality of the books.

Some of these I do not plan to read at all, since they are not my style. If you feel like a book doesn't belong here, let me know.

For my favs / read, check out my other lists & shelves.

Open to suggestions for more titles.

Don't shoot the messenger.

For all of us with ME/CFS. For all of us with chronic illness. For all of us who wish to be seen and heard and loved and understood. I get you and you’re not alone.

I hope these books help heal a part of your heart, or that they teach you something valuable. Sending you love and vitality 💛

Pls note: Piranesi and Cinder House are (only) inspired by the authors’ experiences with ME, and some books don’t specify ME in a character but show the experience anyway.

This list is perfect for a quick magical escape. 😊

Novels with throuples, polycules, best found family romance vibes

"Place as character" is usually reserved for lush descriptions that bring environments to life, and less often used for environments that have a life of their own. This list includes houses, homes, castles, spaceships, anywhere people will spend time and call home. Not meant to include haunted houses, but a case could be argued for specific ones. c:

Only including the first in a series unless books feature different sentient places.
