Badge Gremlins
Shorter books (under 200 pages) that are part of at least one quest. Many are also in the public domain, making them easily accessible when you want to grind for that next badge.

audiobooks 5 hours & under!
as we approach the end of the year, i thought of compiling a collection of short audiobooks for anyone trying to sneak more books onto their read list or for those trying to complete reading challenges! best of luck! ๐

do you want the house tour?
I could take you to the first, second, third floor ๐
these are books with rooms of the house in the title
I tried to arrange the list so that it takes us from the basement to the attic like a real house!
as always, taking any and all suggestions!!!

High Femme Fiction
pink, sophisticated & sometimes fatale <3 (added some essential nonfic & poetry!)

Books that make you hungry
Books about food, either non-fiction or foodie fiction

I gotta finish my reading challenge ๐๐ป๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐
Short books that you can read in a sitting, to help you achieve your yearly reading goal ๐คญ๐ฅณ Feel free to mention anything else from the list, I'm so glad to add & check them out ๐

magical realism: the classics & niche
my favorite genre! the grit of the everyday alongside the possibility for something more, a veil thinning, serendipity bending reality to its whimsy and beauty. this is a smaller list due the brittle nature of the genre. it's up to interpretation, but i like my magical realism on the more realistic side with very slight tints of magic/fantastical elements. recommendations are welcome!

Asian Authors
An on-going attempt to track Asian authors in my Interested/TBR (and hopefully Finished) categories. Books are generally fiction/lit fic/fantasy with some memoirs. Authors span West to East Asia, the Asian diaspora, and mixed-race folx.

A Pink Sapphicโs Bookshelf
the coquette femme aesthetic is of the utmost importance

Itโs okay to judge a book by itโs cover!
Beautiful books for when your monthly reading roundup needs a little facelift ๐

timeless fiction from ESEAsian authors
east & south east asian literary fiction beyond murakami.
timeless modern classics โ 20th century onwards โ exploring universal themes like identity, morality and society.
these books capture elements of the uniquely beautiful symbolism, tones and rhythms that characterise asian languages and culture.
very much open to recs for expansion. (one book per author, typically their most renowned)

Pretty in Pink
Books with pink covers!

wlb (weird little books)
weird little books you can read in one sitting

books to read in one sitting
short books around 200 pages or less that you can easily read in one sitting! for those who just want a quick read or those trying to hit their reading goals ! i tried to include a variety of genres including lit fic, fantasy, sci-fi, horror, thriller, etc.

queer books by non-white authors
a lot of what i read is what i see talked about, books at the top of search results, books face out at bookshops, etc. i never really stopped to consider how many of those books were written by white authors, so i have set a task to be more conscious of the cultural and ethnic diversity in my reading and thought to make a list to keep track of what iโve read and what i want to read.
please feel free to comment any recommendations!

alphabet soup group
Books on my TBR with LGBTQIA+ characters or themes.
