Such a cool list! I have Slow Noodles: A Cambodian Memoir of Love, Loss, and Family Recipes by Chantha Nguon on my TBR, I haven’t read it but it definitely fits!

Not sure if this is what you’re looking for, but I just bought End Game by Willa Gray and I know her late moms apple pie is very important to the story and it came with a recipe!!
Other food-ish books I might suggest (that come with recipes!) are the Legends and Lattes books by Travis Baldree, and the Fellowship of Bakers and Magic books!!

Sorry, I wrote out half of my reply, accidentally exited the box on my phone, lost what I wrote, and promptly gave up for a day lol.
Okay so all the ones I suggested are fiction of some sort, and I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for, but I do think they all fit the description of " food and its relationship with memory, culture, identity, family, and love".
Endgame by Willa Gray is a contemporary romance that recently when indie to trad I believe, and it takes place between a pro hockey player and an ER nurse. Said nurse recently survived a devastating car accident that killed her mom, and she is struggling heavily with grief and survivors' guilt, feeling worthy & whole, etc when she meets this guy. She's in no place to date, so they're friends, and he makes her mom's apple pie for her on a day when she's especially struggling, and it's just so sweet. The book comes with the apple pie recipe, too. Romance (presumably) ensues. (My TBR will be buried with me like a pharoah.)
Travis Baldree's 3 books in the Legends & Lattes universe are cozy, low-stakes, high-fantasy books. Think retired orc who wants to run a coffeeshop, and boom you've got it. Also very queer, highly recommend. The first one has a couple recipes in it, the second one has 1 i think, and I haven't read the latest one yet. But the exploration of new foods is central to the plot and the characters'' growth and relationships.
And then the Fellowship of Bakers and Magic books by J. Penner are also getting very popular and they're on my TBR. I follow the author and she's very sweet, shares baking tips, and the books all come with the recipes to the things the characters are making in the fantasy Great British bakeoff lol.
Don't know if they fit this list but I recommend them all. 😊
I think The Leaving Room by Amber McBride would be a great addition. Each chapter includes a recipe from the author’s loved ones! And they all sound delicious!
