Recs if you like MADK, Vol. 1 (1)...

Ever dreamed of getting railed by Pyramid Head? What about falling in love with a murderous monster? Then, babes, you're in the right place. These romance and erotica reads are horrifying, frightening, and downright titillating. 😏

For interconnected series, only book 1 is listed. Open to recs!

Note: These are romance/erotica books with horror themes and horror books with romantic/erotic themes. Come get this hot and scary goodness!

LGBT*+ graphic novels / comics / manga +

Fluff to smut, including 18+ etc aka not exclusive to anything specific other than being queer content (queer & queer-rep inclusive stories). I have read a good handful of the ones now at the bottom of the list. Includes intended middle-grade-ish-level youth content to adult audience content.

In progress / updated over time. Mostly serving as an all-in-one-spot list until Pagebound figures something out that works well for multi-genre/format exploration. :)

(recs highly welcome) Attempting a highly exhaustive list.

an extremely unserious list of manga featuring the dark-haired boys (usually more normal) with white haired boyfriends (scary, inhuman, or otherwise unnerving), will include series with manga where the boys are "just friends" but have boyfriend esque chemistry. the pairing may not feature in the first issue as listed but that is what i'll include. dark haired boys with blonde boyfriends will be added if felt to suitably fit the trope.

These people are not following proper first aid protocol, but who's complaining? A hole is a hole, regardless of how the hole got there. Open to suggestions of all genres and to all "first aid" decisions.

Those filthy shrink-wrapped reads you're almost too embarrassed to add to your TBR.

All recs are Boys Love (BL) / Manhwa / Yaoi / MM (+ a sprinkle of Bara) with monster love interests. Majority are spicy with a few sweet ones thrown in for balance. 😏

Main list limited due to “webtoon” policing (more recs in the comments). For series, only volume 1 is listed.

Huge thanks to my senpai, indie author Dorian Valentine, for raising me to be the degenerate fujoshi I am today! Open to recs.

This one's for smexy bishies ehehehe. ^_^ Alternatively, a list focused on erotic yaoi/BL. Let's fujo tf out.

Queer books that deal in one way or another with Christianity. Angels, demons, churches, religious trauma - it's all in here! Many stories lean horror and/or erotic 🔞

Recommendations welcome!

✦ I have not read all of these books - if you notice anything that seems to be mis-labeled/mis-placed on this list, please let me know! ✦

Manga that I feel in my soul is subtextually or explicitly queer.

Graphic Novels, Comics, and a Manga or two that feature cannibalism

Just some horror loved by a weird girl

Now you’re into BL, right? Now it’s time for some oldies!

Red/black flags are present, some are pretty wild so tread with caution!

If you have any questions, let me know and as always feedback is welcome 🥰

BL, romance, fantasy, and everything in between - manga, manhwa, light novels, graphic novels, and comics. All my favourite stories and ones on my TBR. A mix of clean and spicy (only adding the first vol for each series)

these books have characters or themes that will make you think twice before RSVPing to the next cookout...

Monsters (and aliens) of all shapes 😏 and sizes 😏😏 loving and getting loved by beautiful MCs. I'm only adding the first book in each series cause they get pretty long (interconnected standalones)

manga with darker themes. only included the first volume of each series.

Dark romance books that I think deserve all the attention from both lovers of the genre and people dipping their toes in

happy pride month!! this will be updated as I read more queer books.
