Disclaimer: I don't wish to bring hate to any authors, I deeply believe in democracy. However I think it's important for people who hold themselves accountable for their reading choices to have access to the information about authors/books they give their time and money to. These are authors who have publicly supported Israel or middle road. If you notice someone who may have changed their stance recently or supported Palestine and are here wrongfully please do correct me

Female protagonists (or antagonists) who bring a burning rage, iron will, or anything they damn well please to the plot.

Give me more badass FMCs who don’t wait for someone else to save the day!! Quick with a blade, quicker with a comeback, these bad b*tches take on monsters, villains, and terrible life choices with equal ferocity. If you’re looking for women who break rules, break hearts, and occasionally break a few bones, this is the ultimate list for you.

Books where the story is brought to another level by the character development, be it in the complex character building or the multi layered character arc. The writer made the characters like facets, every angle and every relation gives them yet another aspect to further deepen the dynamic between characters. Every little bit of past revealed shows us the way they became who they are now. Leaving us with characters arcs that feel like an entire story on their own that impacts the greater plot.

Books where the main character is going through it, (or has gone through it), and dammit they’re dealing with it as best they can. Romantasy, SFR mainly! But a few memoirs and litfic too. ❤️‍🩹 Always open to more suggestions ❤️‍🩹
