Books where the story is brought to another level by the character development, be it in the complex character building or the multi layered character arc. The writer made the characters like facets, every angle and every relation gives them yet another aspect to further deepen the dynamic between characters. Every little bit of past revealed shows us the way they became who they are now. Leaving us with characters arcs that feel like an entire story on their own that impacts the greater plot.

Books on this list Iāve personally read and recommend;
Books that are on the TBR but are recommended because of their great character work;
Oh! Yay! Books I havenāt read!
Thank you so much for creating this list! Love it! šš¼āāļø
Itās a matter of āwe need more like thisā felt important š¤.
Oh my word, you were quick! Need more, read them all
Haha yes, I loved the idea you sparked so here we are. Need to deep dive into my archives some more š.
Wait didnāt read 3 and 4 of vampire series
Add anything Jess Wisecup, specially her paranormal. Amara Raeās Lifeblood (paranormal and I think you will love it)
Iāve actually read book 1 of Lifeblood, I need to pick up the rest because I did end up liking that one, and I think Iāll love it more now that my comprehension of English has grown a lot. Which one of Jess Wisecup would be a good one to start with and more romantasy(ish)? ^^
Just replying with the book you have listed :) Between Wrath and Mercy. Older character, desperate to save her daughter, forced to ask old lover
Love discovering books that are already on my tbr š bumping it up the list!
Recommendations are appreciated š
Maybe Rain of Shadows and Endings by Melissa K Roehrich? I love this series, it has complex and very flawed characters, but the character growth is really slow.
Ooh, good one. Iāve heard really good things about this authorās character work before. Itās been on the tbr for that reason ^^.
