They don’t play for the same team. Or do they? Jamie Canning has never been able to figure out how he lost his closest friend. Four years ago, his tattooed, wise-cracking, rule-breaking roommate cut him off without an explanation. So what if things got a little weird on the last night of hockey camp the summer they were eighteen? It was just a little drunken foolishness. Nobody died. Ryan Wesley’s biggest regret is coaxing his very straight friend into a bet that pushed the boundaries of their relationship. Now, with their college teams set to face off at the national championship, he’ll finally get a chance to apologize. But all it takes is one look at his longtime crush, and the ache is stronger than ever. Jamie has waited a long time for answers, but walks away with only more questions—can one night of sex ruin a friendship? If not, how about six more weeks of it? When Wesley turns up to coach alongside Jamie for one more hot summer at camp, Jamie has a few things to discover about his old friend...and a big one to learn about himself. Warning: contains sexual situations, hotties on hockey skates, skinnydipping, shenanigans in an SUV and proof that coming out to your family on social media is a dicey proposition.

Wes and Jamie were great friends for years at the hockey summer camp they attended, but the friendship ending abruptly after one fateful bj. Years later they're both coaches at the camp and rekindling the friendship--and exploring a physical relationship and falling in love.

-Haven't read too many childhood friends to lovers, but was the second sports romance with childhood crush/pining in a row--not my favorite trope
-Jamie seemed more personable/fun; we saw more of this thoughts and feelings, maybe
-Wes we were told over and over how he was a prankster and a wild one, but didn't see much of it really--plus Jamie always went along with it
-Wes's drama with his family wasn't done very well in my opinion; that was supposed to be a source of conflict but it wasn't in the book enough/not resolved satisfactorily--maybe in future books in the series?
-Liked Jamie's laid back attitude, and that his sexuality wasn't something that was a huge internal conflict. Plus his family was fun and a sweet addition/element
-Maybe it's because I don't know anything about sports, but having to keep the sexuality secret seemed like low stakes? Wes was VERY out in college, and it seemed like it wasn't at all a secret, so I didn't really buy that as a strong source of tension
-Fun, fast read with decent steaminess and good end
