Recs if you like Queer Nature: A Poetry Anthology...

Nature is Fluid & Interconnected: A perspective blending Queer Theory (challenging norms around gender/sexuality) with Ecology (the study of relationships in nature). Queer ecology questions assumptions that human norms (like heterosexuality or fixed binaries) are the only "natural" way. It invites us to see nature, ourselves, and our relationships with more nuance and complexity.

In-progress/Updated over time Recommendations highly welcomed! Seeking intersectional works esp.

Single work per author listed (unless an anthology of multiple authors works)

Books with titles that start with the most uncommon letters to begin words: X, Q, Z & J.

I wanted to join the fun in doing an alphabet challenge and am currently adding X and Z to complete my alphabet of books :) Here’s some recommendations if others want a similar challenge!

Calling all poets who can't or won't go back to school! These are books for honing our craft, compiling our collections, and sharing our work. If there's a book that's changed the way you've engaged with poetry or your own writing practice I'd love to hear about it :)
