A collection of acclaimed classic and contemporary Francophone literature. I chose to classify as Francophone rather than French in order to include authors who wrote in French but were/are not of French nationality, especially authors from colonised countries. Non-exhaustive as I'm not an expert I am keeping this list to one book per author but suggestions very welcome! :)

As said in the name, this is a list to long (a bit boring) and old french literature that I would consider good books (because frenchies don't lack of long books)
This is a list of books from the XIX c. (and before). Some books are just 150 pages long because they are plays
(Feel free to tell me if you want me to add books to the list, I will be adding some myself as I can't think about every book right now...)
