3.75** This book was interesting, I appreciate how much research the author conducted to make it historically accurate. Reading a fictional story with actual historical characters and the recorded atrocities of King Yeonsan made for such an fascinating book. The characters fell a little flat at times, and I struggled to follow the Nameless Flower plotline towards the end and understand his intentions. Despite that, I enjoyed reading it, I was (mostly) satisfied with the ending and I like that Daehyun truly was "A crane among wolves".
