a masterlist of horror by anyone who isn't a straight cis white man, started in 2022 and brought to pb in 2026.

Books in this list are in at least two quests. Thus helping to earn more badges. Books will span different genres. Once I scan through all the quests, I plan to further organize the list. I am thinking of creating a seperate list and moving the books with three or more quests to the new list and keeping the two badge books in this list. Disclaimer: I am not Pacific Islander, but we should all strive to read more Pasifika authors!

The grouping of Pasifika and Asian communities has a complex history. And because of this grouping, Pasifika authors are largely underrepresented.

a lot of what i read is what i see talked about, books at the top of search results, books face out at bookshops, etc. i never really stopped to consider how many of those books were written by white authors, so i have set a task to be more conscious of the cultural and ethnic diversity in my reading and thought to make a list to keep track of what i’ve read and what i want to read.
