Autumn Hill is a Prairieland Defendant, sentenced to 50 years in prison for protesting outside of an ICE detention facility, in a move intended to scare people from voicing dissent. To support her, she says, âSend me more messy gay fiction!â especially by queer authors of color.

Iâve been checking these books against the list of banned books compiled đby the Marshall Project. I havenât read most of these yet, though, so please let me know if thereâs content in any of them that would be objectionable to prison censors (they do not distinguish between depiction and endorsement).
