A list of excellent Batman books for new readers, longtime fans, and people who question why there are so so so so so so so so so many books about a billionaire with a cosplay and BDSM fetish.

Unless he's a member of a team or a bit player, I am usually bored by Superman books. He's too powerful, which makes very few believable opponents for him. This is a list of books that he features in that I've been interested enough to read more than once. Most of them are considered non-canon.
