disability pride - psychiatric disabilities
in honor of disability pride month, here is a series on the colours of the flag! our second colour on the disability pride flag is blue, which represents psychiatric disabilities and mental illnesses. numerous examples of those include bipolar disorder, depression, general anxiety disorder, PTSD, PMDD, selective mutism, dissociative identity disorder, and many more. books within this list series will be both fiction and non-fiction literature. as always, feel free to recommend any books!

Thereβs now LGB without the T and I want to celebrate and uplift Trans authors! Letβs also remember how much the Trans community has done for the queer community as a whole and uplift their stories year round, not just during pride month.






Disability Rep Books
Book with main characters that are disabled. Both physical and mental included. Eg chronic/terminal illness, physical disabilities, mental illness, neurodivergance, addiction, injury and injury recovery, symptoms causing health issues etc. Doesn't have to be a diagnosed condition. Not necessarily by authors with shared experiences. Books any be any genre. Added only 1st book of series unless there are different characters.
