I'm so very excited to find these recommendations! I had thought about making my own 'cottagecore' books list but realised I could only think of two! Thank you for putting this list together!

Truth be told it was Anne of Green Gables and Heidi, not sure if they'd quite fit here because they're children's classics and not fantasy (maybe that's where I was going wrong in searching for cottagecore books- I was forgetting to search in the fantasy genre!)
Oo I get that! This is mainly fantasy with a few other genres. I do think that the definition of cottagecore has been changing as well over the years so it's starting to include a lot more beyond the typical cottagecore you find in classics (it still subjective obviously, similar to how cozy is imo)
