Women are unrepresented in STEM. Based on the numbers from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, women account for only 29.3% of STEM federal workers.
This is a small, very niche, list of romance novels that feature women in male dominated fields! Please share any other romance novels featuring women in a STEM field, I would be honored to add them to the list!

I was pretty sure that I'll find a lot of Ali Hazelwood books in here
She really is the standing queen of STEM novels but I hope this list grows more đ„ș
Love this thank you!! Hopefully can help find even more!
Hope some of these help scratch that Ali Hazelwood sized itch! Also let me know if there are any that could be added!
I love this list! I think this is one of my highest percentage of overlap in a list at 56%đ„č I hope it's okay to share two recs as I think both would be perfect here: The Probability of Us by Elizabeth-Jade Taylor and Salacia Project by Elena Locatelli
ugh those BOTH sound so good!! thank you for the recs and let me know if you run into any more đ
AHH Of course! I literally just finished another STEM Romance called Falling for my Enemy by Claire Kingsley. I found it on an instagram page that shares STEM Romance recs and instantly divided into it as she shared a few recs that including going to conferences, of which Next Level Love and Love & Other Brain Experiments were part of đ„č it's a sub-genre that I love so thank you for making this listđ€
ADDED HER TO THE LIST!!!! I'm so sure I'm missing a bunch from books I've read in the past... I'll also be on the lookout for more to add! thanks for all your help!!!
Absolutely love this list!! Women in STEM and STEM romances are one of my favorite romance subgenres. I recently read An Academic Affair by Jodi McAlister and You Between the Lines by Katie Naymon. I think they would be great additions to this list.
I ran across both of these previously but didnât include them in this list since the synopsis indicated a more humanities/academia setting (not science, tech, engineering or math) but please correct me if Iâm wrong since I havenât read either! Iâm now considering if thatâs another list I should make?! I do appreciate the suggestion though, thank you friend đ«¶đ»
You are definitely right these are both more academia focused. I think that would be such a fun and interesting list to make. I always find Iâm struggling to find books (romance more specifically) sent in an academia setting along with STEM romances. Which your list helped me find some more recommendations for STEM romances.đ„°đ«¶đ»
