Thank you! I’ve already added a few books to my to-be-read list. I’ve read the pepper book before, though. There’s another similar book about sugar. It's called Bittersweet: The Story of Sugar by Peter Macinnis. But I’m not sure if it would fit on your list because it focuses more on history and economics than on ancient plants.
