A collection of books about Maria Montessori’s teaching method and pedagogy. Maria Montessori was an Italian doctor of medicine born in 1870. She was hired as an educator for a low income school and later developed her pedagogy and method of teaching young children. Many of the books here were written by Maria herself, and others by scholars of Maria’s method many years later.

Love this! My kiddo goes to a Montessori School and I volunteer in their primary program. It’s such a fascinating pedagogy!
It truly is! My kids also go to a Montessori school! My oldest has dyslexia and my youngest has ADHD, and this program has been SO good for them! I’m a music teacher, so I learned a little of her methods in college, but I’m super interested in it now!
The Montessori program is SO GOOD for so many neurodivergent kids! Our school in particular attracts a lot of families in our town whose neirodivergent kids haven’t been able to qualify for the support that they need in public school. My kiddo has an autism + ADHD diagnosis and the program has been AMAZING to support the specific needs they have.
I went to a montessori school for preschool and I didn't know it was designed by a single Dr Montessori until I saw this list made. It's so interesting!! I know that the way that I learn, even now as an adult, is impacted by how I was taught then.
