I've not read any of these but this list has sparked an interest in me to read them, this is so sweet (though I know some of these stories are said to be brutal lol)
Half of this list is definitely responsible for a good deal of my childhood trauma š That said, Watership Down, Redwall, and Fire Bringer in particular are absolute favourite books of mine!
I have heard a lot of great things about these books despite the trauma they bring! I shall add them to my interested list š
Please add Beasts of New York by Jon Evans!! It's one of my favorite books ever and it's free online and no one knows about it.
I'll look into it!! š
There's also the Guardians of Ga'hoole series (owls) and the Warriors series (cats) š±
