Down Comes the Night by Alison Saft would be 🤌 on here.

Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik might also be a good fit, but it’s fantasy period, not strictly gothic.

This is my favorite highly specific niche, so I’ll keep my eyes out for more!

Thanks so much for the recs! I'll look them up! They don't have to be Gothic, I'm just doing pre-technology sort of deal - dances, feasts, old games and songs, some ghosts maybe😁
