Ahhhh I’m commenting in excitement to have discovered someone else that loved this books in childhood!!! I felt like they were a fever dream the way they’re not mentioned anywhereeee and no one seems to have heard of them 😭 hooray for not being alone
Omg your comment made this appear in my feed and I'm so excited to see other people who know these books. I read so many of her books both within and outside of the Deltora universe and they were so instrumental to my young reader's brain!!
They 10000% shaped my reading trajectory. I loved the stories so much as a kid but it was tough being a little reader into books no one else was reading 😭
I made my mom and a bunch of other family members read them hahaha

Me too! They definitely shaped my preference for fantasy books and I had the whole series proudly displayed in my room! Also made others read them, but no one I know really enjoyed them as much. Happy to have found others for whom it was also such a joyful experience! 😁
