Hello pageboundies, I've been hoping to find some moots from the same country, I haven't had any luck, so, I'm bringing the question here: where are you from? I'm from Portugal šµš¹ and need more bookish friends (: feel free to use this post to find your own!!

This book was made for the nerdy yearners who spend their days invested in their special interest who still dream of finding a companionable love that will delight in their passionā¦
This is the sapphic version of those romances with the covers of dudes in billowy shirts holding ladies in flowing dresses (or what I imagine is the equivalent as Iāve never felt inclined to step into such heteronormative reads). With this book you get: smart and talented women supporting one another, independence from men (and putting snobbish men in their place), jealous exes, and a whole lot of tender lovemaking. Whatās not to love?!

Is it just me or does it feel extremely weird to post in empty forums? I personally really like to make posts because it feels like a space where I can discuss the book freely. But empty forums feel like I'm voicing my opinions into a void - it feels weird sometimes!

I think my previous post has received a lot of downvotes due to my comment about āwearing diversity like a gold necklaceā. It wasnāt about Bree or Tracy Deonn herself, I would never.
I was just pissed at the girl (Victoria) who gestures in Breeās direction, saying āthe year our chapter welcomes its most diverse Page classā in that welcoming night thingy.
I think I need to make this post because I donāt want people to get the wrong idea, and I wanna post more of my thoughts about whatās happening in this book soon. So far Iām liking itš

I know Iāve seen posts occasionally about books people absolutely hate not just not like but I was thinking wouldnāt it be interesting if along with the Your Taste books there was Your Hate books category you could easily see if someone matches you there.
Iām not saying it should be a feature exactly Iām saying that I have definitely decided to follow someone if they hate a book I hate but it takes a little digging AND I know some people have started their shelves here from scratch so maybe the books you hated wouldnāt even be on your reviews or DNF shelf! Tragic
This came about because I was randomly talking about Divergent with someone and I remembered how much I despised the ending but like most super popular books it has tons of fans of course so I rarely have a conversation with someone who also was not a fan.
Like most I have many factors to following someone not just exact matching books tastes so this is just another criteria to consider.
If youāre a book lover you are also a book hater at some point!

Unfortunately my TBR did not and does not include the books chosen for the readalongs⦠is any one else feeling guilt over not reading their already established and too long TBR? Iām not really talking about the books listed on Pagebound⦠itās the unread books that stare at me from the bookshelf. šš¤¦š»āāļøš¤·š»āāļø

What are some of your biggest pet peeves about books themselves?
I, for one, am constantly upset that tables of contents aren't as regular as they used to be, specifically the kind that show pages number, not just chapter titles. I like to see ahead of time if the chapters are longer or shorter so I can better pace my reading. Why are publishers hiding this information from us?? š¤£
I also need the praise on the back of the book to be switched with the summary inside the cover. The praise is always secondary to me, give me the deets! š
So curious to see what else annoys you guys lol
