For border abolition specifically, my favorite intro texts are:

  • Against Borders: The Case for Abolition — Gracie Mae Bradley & Luke de Noronha (this one is probably the best starting point)
  • Border & Rule: Global Migration, Capitalism, and the Rise of Racist Nationalisms — Harsha Walia (more expansive, situates border abolition within a broader analysis of capitalism and colonialism)
  • The Case for Open Borders — John Washington (profiling people impacted by borders in each chapter, while adding analysis of the economics and ethics of bordering)
