Music Appreciation 101
A mash-up of two of the most wonderful things in life books and music! đ A collection of non-fiction from biographies, genre histories, and social and pop histories. These are going to be unfortunately skewed toward my taste and those artists who I have knowledge of and/or admire. So recommend me artists you know!! (As long as they arenât âproblematicâ ie, Michael Jackson, Jerry Lee Lewis, Kid Rock, Ted Nugent, etc.)

I'm quite partial to 'This band could be your life', which is about a bunch of different punk and hardcore bands. And there's Julian Cope's autobiography Head-On/Repossessed, which talks again about punk but this time UK centric
Thank you so much!! đ Iâm only really familiar with the SF Bay Area punk scene and Iâve only read Englandâs Dreaming so far in terms of the UK. These books are super awesome!! Iâm definitely gonna add them.

Not a straight recommendation, but I also heard many good things about Viv Albertine's autobiography. Haven't read it myself yet
