Books set (at least partially) on the large island off the coast of British Columbia, Canada. Sometimes referred to as "the Hawaii of Canada" because it doesn't get the stereotypical Canadian Prairies/Maritimes Winter experience.

What am I missing, folks?
This is exactly what I need while I dream of a life in Victoria 💛
I love that people dream of living where I live.
It's so lovely, I can't imagine anyone not wanting to live there! Like a morning grabbing coffee at Habit or a treat at Wildfire Bakery then walking over to GVPL to check out the new releases sounds amazing right now and I'm so sad I won't be there during New Year's this year.
Ha, I'm walking to a different branch of GVPL in about an hour (once work is done).
This is not a list I expected to see, but I am so excited to see it.
Something highly specific but lovely? I wanna make that list. Do you have anything to add? Have you been to the island?
I live on the island! It was super shocking to see 😂 in a good way.
I’ve only ever read one book that took place on the island, and it shocked me to see. It was Never Knowing by Chevy Stevens. It was a thriller.
I live on the island, too! Grew up in the Comox Valley, college in CR, live in Victoria.
Oh that’s neat! My husband works out in Courtenay and we live in QB/Parksville area! I used to go to VIU. I’m always so excited to see the island mentioned because I don’t see it a lot. Usually only Victoria specifically.
Small world!
Also, added "Never Knowing" to the list - thank you!
