These are the books I either couldn’t finish or probably should have given up on earlier. Whether it was because they just didn’t click, felt too slow, or didn’t live up to the hype, sometimes books just don’t vibe, and it’s okay to let them go.

I also agree with A Merry Little Meet Cute! I wanted to like it since it's local authors for me but it just wasn't for me.
I totally support sex work so that wasn’t the issue. I think it was just the writing style? Idk, but I stalled out hard around 33% and couldn’t keep going.
I *did* finish this book and it is not one I would recommend lmao. I am the most laid-back reader because I am 100% vibes and 0% seriousness (unless required) and even I was like, "um no thanks."
Lmaoo I made the rookie mistake of buying the entire series up front 😭 still mad at myself for that one.
I also finished the book! I just couldn’t connect and found the writing style/lack of real plot to be challenging for me to get over.
so real for adding the house across the lake 😅
I only finished it because it was a book club read. I swear it took me the entire month to finish that awful book.
Haha me too! I was actually really enjoying it until the plot twist happened. So out of nowhere and made zero sense
Omg finally someone agreed that Magnolia Parks was not all that!!! I couldn’t stand the designer name dropping every five seconds like you’re rich we get it!
I get why some people enjoy it, but I couldn't stand any of it and I really gave it a shot. This book is the reason I DNF at the 33% mark now.
I don’t even think I made it that far 🥲
Oh I made it to 87% trying to understand the hype
