Wow what an incredible story. The author did such a good job showing and not telling and making you feel everything she did while going through her life. I burned through this audiobook and having the author narrate herself was incredible.
If you like learning about religious cults, one tree hill, and audiobooks narrated by the author themselves I would recommend you give this book a try!

I really did not love the first book but I wanted to give the second book a shot. I checked out the audiobook through Libby so I don’t have to own it lol. The audiobook narrators did a good job and I felt like the settings were described better in this book than the first one. Also the main characters weren’t AS annoying. I was a big fan of all the side characters and sprinkling in their stories.
Overall this book was better than the first for me but this isn’t really a series I would recommend to friends. The second book wasn’t good enough for me to think reading the first one was worth it. If a friend already owns the book then of course I’d suggest they read it but I won’t go out of my way to recommend this series.

I just couldn’t do it. DNF at 20%. I don’t have very many trigger warnings that steer me away from books but something about a pregnant woman being taken hostage just doesn’t do it for me and gave me so much second hand anxiety. And for that reason, I’m out ✌🏻

This was such a wholesome read. I have really enjoyed the genre of books that follow seniors around in their older years and getting to learn about the things they lived through and all the history they experienced. Eudora was such a pleasure to follow in this story and man was she delt such a hard life. Getting to follow her as she decides what is right for her end of life care and finally feeling like someone has heard her was very beautiful. Her finding Rose and Stanley and becoming a little rag tag group literally made me laugh out loud several times.
Overall I would recommend this book to any age or gender, anyone who enjoys found family based stories, and likes some wholesome vibes.

This train wreck of an engagement party is so hard to “watch!” I get some of why Stella behaves the way she does but man is she pretty unbearable. Poor Eudora had so much to deal with in her early years with that family.

I went into this book totally blind and fell in love with all the characters! I really enjoy a wholesome book that follows different characters lives and how they all overlap. There was nothing I really would have changed about this book but I don’t think it has the staying power of a 5 star read for me.
This book gave me all the cozy fall/holiday vibes and the setting being a small English town was just a cherry topper! The characters were beautiful and flawed and so very relatable.
I’d recommend to anyone who wants a wholesome romance read, likes following overlapping lives/multiple POV’s, and found families of a wide variety of ages!

Hello fellow readers! I'm reading the second book in a row now where I don't exactly vibe with the main character. Like, I don't need them to be likeable, but I at least need to understand them, you know? Especially with more character driven books. So: What are your book recommendations that are not only great books, but also have outstanding main chracter(s)?

I love how each book has its own tone, but this one just does not stop. The momentum is nonstop and I’m into it, really hoping it keeps this energy the whole way through.

This was not my favorite book in the Rebel Blue Books but it was still great getting to see more of Cam's story and the bonus chapter at the ends was Chef's Kiss.
My biggest drawback to this book was the second act breakup and I just felt the way Cam reacted to somethings was very blown out of proportion. I thought Dusty was a stand up guy and took most things in stride and was a fun character to get to learn more about.
I am sad to be ending my time with Rebel Blue Ranch but I can not wait to see what Lyla has in store for her next series! I think I would read her grocery list, I enjoy her writing so much!

As someone who has not read Macbeth (crazy it wasn't required at my high school), I was still able to follow along with the story and have a relatively good understanding of what was happening. This book filled all my spooky fall vibes that I wanted and the audiobook narrator did a fantastic job. I was so deeply invested in the characters and how things were going to play out and I think Ava did a great job making this story so approachable and pretty easy to follow (if you're paying attention.)
I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys classics, needs a great dark and witchy read for the fall, or anyone who is interested in seeing another side to the Macbeth story.
